The Johnson Street project limits were between Jasmine Place and 182nd Avenue. The Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) extended the project limits to connect to a sidewalk on 178th Avenue. This $228,000 project is funded through the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) FY 2017-18 Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Program.
Since 2011, 49 URMD Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects totaling over $21 million have been funded. The public can submit Pedestrian and Biking Improvement proposals. Eligible proposals are added to the Pedestrian and Biking Improvements candidate list. Currently, the list has more than 200 candidates on it.
