What to expect during construction
The following are typical activities for this type of project. However, the sequence of activities may change due to contractor schedule and resources.
- Installation of stormwater pipe, catch basins and stormwater manholes.
- Demolition, including clearing and grubbing of the proposed sidewalk area.
- Grading, leveling and construction of forms.
- Pouring curb and gutter.
- Pouring concrete sidewalks and driveways.
- Laying asphalt connections to the roadway.
- Seeding of landscape areas and clean-up.
